Privacy and cookie policy

This notice covers coberg.pl and enquiries sent through our contact form, by email or by phone. Last updated: 10 September 2026.

1. Who is responsible for your data?

2. What data do we process and why?

• Enquiries and quotations: your name, business contact details, company, phone number, email address and correspondence. Where you request a contract on your own behalf, the basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). For enquiries on behalf of a company or other correspondence, the basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and maintaining business relationships (Article 6(1)(f)).
• Website operation and security: technical information such as IP address, request time, page requested and browser information. We use this to operate the site, investigate errors and prevent abuse, including spam. The basis is our legitimate interest in maintaining security (Article 6(1)(f)).
• Business records: if an enquiry results in a contract, data may be needed to perform it, meet legal obligations such as accounting requirements, and establish, exercise or defend claims (Articles 6(1)(b), (c) or (f), as applicable).
• Optional external content: enabling it within the website is based on your consent, as explained below (Article 6(1)(a)).

Providing enquiry data is voluntary. Fields marked as required allow us to accept and handle the form; you may instead contact us directly by email or phone. Without details allowing a response, we may be unable to handle your enquiry. Please do not send sensitive data or information about other people that is unnecessary for your enquiry.

Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter or give consent to advertising. This website currently uses neither Google Analytics nor advertising tracking pixels. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated processing, including profiling, using website data.

3. Who may receive data?

Authorised COBERG personnel handling your enquiry can access the data. Hosting, email and IT providers may process data on our behalf. Email and contact form messages are handled through Google Workspace. Where necessary for a particular matter, recipients may also include advisers, accounting or legal service providers and authorities entitled to receive data by law.

Google Workspace services may involve processing outside the European Economic Area. Safeguards under Google’s data processing terms apply, in particular applicable adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses, depending on the transfer. 4. How long do we keep data?

Enquiry correspondence is retained for the time needed to respond and close the matter. If it documents a business relationship, legal obligation or claim, retention is determined by the duration of the contract, applicable record-keeping requirements and the limitation period for the relevant claim; in a dispute, also by the time needed for its final resolution. Technical logs are retained for the time needed to maintain security and investigate errors or incidents. Data necessary to investigate a specific incident may be retained until it is resolved. Browser storage periods are described below.

5. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing. In the circumstances specified in the GDPR, you also have a right to data portability. You may object to processing based on our legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

6. Cookies and browser storage

The website uses technical browser storage to operate selected features and remember your preferences. Consent to optional content is not required to read the offer or send an enquiry.

• Language: coberg_language_choice in localStorage remembers Polish or English until you change the preference or clear site storage. The language module may also use cookies in the _icl_ or wp-wpml_ families to handle language selection.
• Privacy preferences: coberg_consent_v2 records that you made a choice, be_gdpr_privacy stores selected services, and coberg_media_active ensures content is displayed correctly after consent. Our consent settings expire after 180 days. Refusal is remembered in the same way as consent.
• Login and security: WordPress and security modules may use technical cookies for sessions and abuse prevention. Administrator account cookies concern people signing into the administration panel; viewing the offer does not require an account.

7. Videos, maps and links to other websites

Where a YouTube or Vimeo video or Google map is embedded, it may connect to its provider only after you select the relevant consent. The provider may receive your IP address, browser and page information, and use its own cookies. Data may be transferred outside the EEA. See the privacy notices of Google / YouTube and Vimeo.

Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to refuse, choose individual services or withdraw consent. Saving preferences reloads the page. Withdrawal prevents subsequent embeds from loading; cookies previously set by a provider can be removed in your browser settings. Your browser also allows you to delete or block cookies and localStorage, which may remove saved preferences.

Ordinary links to Google Maps, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube open separate services when clicked. Data processing on those websites is governed by their providers’ policies.
