Project completed — COBERG drive axles and new testing capabilities

We have completed the project that enabled COBERG to introduce complete drive axles with three bevel gearboxes for manure spreaders and expand our manufacturing and testing capabilities.

Drive axles in the COBERG range

The new product is a complete drive assembly comprising a central gearbox and two side gearboxes. The range is intended for manufacturers, distributors and users of agricultural machinery in Poland and abroad.

Our dynamometer and testing capabilities

The project included a dynamometer test rig for gearboxes and complete drive axles. Expanding our own testing facilities supports product development and the selection of solutions for specific machines.

The updated COBERG product catalogue includes the MS drive axle series. It contains drawings, dimensions and variant data to help compare solutions and select an assembly for a machine. Models MS01–MS03 are presented on pages 46–48.

Purpose and scope of the completed project

The project “Zakup specjalistycznych urządzeń do obróbki metalu w celu wprowadzenia nowego produktu do oferty firmy” (purchase of specialist metalworking equipment to introduce a new product to the company’s range), project number FESL.10.03-IP.01-0492/23-003, aimed to expand production capabilities and introduce a new product to the COBERG range.

The investment included the purchase of a 4-axis vertical machining centre, a conventional lathe, a dynamometer test rig and a photovoltaic installation for the facility. The project also included solutions supporting the efficient use of materials and renewable energy.

European Funds support

The project was co-funded by the European Union under European Funds for Silesia 2021–2027 (Just Transition Fund), Priority FESL.10.00 — European Funds for Transition, Action FESL.10.03 — Support for SMEs for Transition.

Total project value: PLN 1,174,462.25
European Funds contribution: PLN 580,003.66
